The story behind the title.
Debbie spent two decades in CPA firms and corporate finance before launching Amorcil from a desk at home in 2000. The spark: she watched too many small businesses fall apart not from bad ideas, but from books they couldn't trust.
She built Amorcil to be the kind of firm she always wanted to work with, one where the bookkeeper picks up the phone, where reports show up on time, and where every client gets the same attention whether they're doing $200k or $20M.
Twenty-five years later, the team has grown but the principle hasn't changed: numbers are about people. And people deserve clarity.
Off the clock. When she's not balancing books, Debbie enjoys rescuing dogs and cats, horseback riding, and dancing.
